“I am a master dancer,” said the knight. He leaped and skipped about. “I have the heart of a ballerina and wish to go to balls. Truthfully, I’m only questing so that I get invited to one. But first, I need fame.”

“Then what should we do for a quest?” Thud asked.

“I have an idea,” the knight said.

He stopped mid-pirouette and pointed into the distance. There was an area ahead where the forest simply withered away. It was a desert wasteland surrounded by towering mountains.

“The Sand Witch’s lair?” Thud asked.
